My Valley Pass is proud to present our signature film tour of the historic Langham Huntington, Pasadena.
Join My Valley Pass co-founder Jared Cowan as he guides you on a 90-minute walking tour of the hotel and grounds while learning about the many films and television shows that incorporated the location into their productions. From Saving Mr. Banks to American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace, there's something for everyone on this very special tour of one of L.A.'s most magnificent filming locations.
At the tour's conclusion, each guest will receive an individually boxed selection of sweet treats from the hotel's talented pastry team, and a sparkling lemonade.
About Your Tour Guide:
Jared Cowan is a photographer and film journalist who has written extensively on the subject of filming locations for various publications including Los Angeles Magazine, L.A. TACO, and LA Weekly. He leads our My Valley Pass film tours of the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and the Langham Huntington Hotel. Should I purchase tickets in advance?
Yes, you must reserve your space in advance.
Is this a bus tour or a walking tour?
This is a walking tour, so we suggest wearing comfortable shoes and dressing weather appropriate.
What age is free?
As space is limited for this tour, free child tickets are not available.
Is the tour appropriate for children?
Please note that the tour does feature images from films and TV shows of an adult nature, but the images themselves are not overly graphic. We suggest 13 and older, but the tour may be appropriate for younger children if they are educated and interested in film and television production. As always, we defer to the parent or guardian to decide if a tour of this nature is appropriate.
Where does the tour meet?
The tour meets in the main lobby of the hotel.
What time should I get there?
We suggest arriving at least fifteen minutes prior to the start of the tour so we can begin on time.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket with me?
No....we can scan the digital ticket on your mobile device.
Where do I park?
Valet parking for non-hotel guests will be available at a discounted rate of $15 per car, with validation. (Price subject to change without notice.) Your tour guide will provide validation upon check in.
Is the tour handicap accessible?
The tour does involve climbing and descending some stairs, but elevators and ramps are also available.
What happens if it rains?
The tour can still be conducted from under covered areas when viewing exterior parts of the hotel. If we are experiencing overly inclement weather on the day of the tour, please check the My Valley Pass website (myvalleypass.com) for the most recent, up-to-date status. You can also check your email periodically. We will send you a notification if there is the need to reschedule the tour.
