My Valley Pass is thrilled to present our Pasadena Walking Film Tour on Saturday, November 16th.
On this offshoot of our popular Pasadena (bus) Film Tour, join My Valley Pass co-founder Jared Cowan for a jaunt through Old Pasadena and the Pasadena Civic Center, and learn about a number of the popular movies and TV shows that have used this visually dynamic and historic area as a filming location. We'll even visit a few locations where a tour bus can't go!

About Your Tour Guide:
Jared Cowan is a photographer and film journalist who has written extensively on the subject of filming locations for various publications including Los Angeles Magazine, L.A. TACO, and LA Weekly. He leads our My Valley Pass film tours of the San Fernando Valley, Pasadena, and the Langham Huntington Hotel. On his podcast, On Location with Jared Cowan, he interviews filmmakers on-site at the locations from their movies. Find it at Apple Podcasts and SoundCloud. Should I purchase tickets in advance?
Yes, you must reserve your space in advance.
Is there a restroom stop?
We suggest using a restroom prior to the tour. Nearby restrooms can be found at the Paseo mall and inside the Pasadena Convention Center. While there is not a planned restroom stop on the tour, we can always accommodate the need to stop along the way.
Is this a bus tour or a walking tour?
This is a walking tour, so we suggest wearing comfortable shoes and dressing weather appropriate.
How long is the tour?
The tour runs approximately 2 hours.
How many miles should I expect to walk?
Nearly a couple of miles in all.
Where does the tour meet?
The tour meets in front of the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. 300 E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101.
What time should I get there?
We have a lot to show you on this tour! Please arrive at least ten minutes prior to the start of the tour so we can begin on time.
Where does the tour end?
At the Paseo mall, directly across the street from the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Does the tour take place inside and outside?
The tour takes place outside.
What age is free?
As space is limited for this tour, free child tickets are not available.
Is the tour appropriate for children?
Please note that the tour does feature images from films and TV shows of an adult nature, but the images themselves are not overly graphic. We suggest 13 and older, but the tour may be appropriate for younger children if they are educated and interested in film and television production. As always, we defer to the parent or guardian to decide if a tour of this nature is appropriate.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket with me?
No....we can scan the digital ticket on your mobile device.
Can I bring my pet?
For your pet's safety, the safety of others and business policies, pets are NOT allowed on the tour.
Where do I park?
Parking is available at various parking structures and garages near the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Please visit the auditorium's Directions Page for more information. You may also consider taking the Metro A Line to either the Del Mar or Memorial Park stations.
What happens if it rains?
If we are experiencing inclement weather on the day of the tour, please check your email periodically. We will send you a notification if there is the need to reschedule the tour.

Yes...if you cannot attend the event you can transfer the ticket to another person.
